I had the pleasure of choosing a beautiful handmade accessory from  Sasha, the owner and creator of So Knotty. Her online store is full of beautiful designs that is sure to fit every personality and style.  The unique  pieces are a  must have for  trendy ladies looking for one of a kind addition to add to  their  winter wardrobe.  I love the softness, the way I was able to manipulate the strands individually to create fullness or to elongate and the color.

 The company is an eCommerce that is based in Atlanta, Georgia but this is definitely not just  a "southern thing".

I find myself excited about the cooler temperatures just so I can rock this So Knotty creation more & more.

It feels so soft on my neck I really like it.. Thanks about the hair..Im trying to keep these mini twists in for 4 weeks but I hope I can at least make it to 2 weeks lol!

Frofashionweek was an awesome event that gave me an opportunity to meet someone I didn't expect to impress me. It was the owner and creator of Jessicurl , Jessica McGuinty. I had seen advertisements in the past via email (curlmart) for Jessicurls but I dismissed it as not a product for a "kinky" curly lady like myself. I had no desire to try the product until I meet her.  Jessica was unveiling the new packaging for the product line at the event and she shared her experience of a love/hate relationship with her curls that I could relate to.  This wasn't a speech from a CEO to sell products it was a conversation with another sister that shared our story.   I was excited to try the products but I was still sceptical of a white lady with curls producing a product that could help this black lady with curls.
